At Fresenius Kabi, we want to make a difference to patients living with chronic kidney disease (CKD). In those with advanced CKD not yet on dialysis, a reduced-protein diet combined with keto-analogues can help preserve remaining kidney function. More evidence from clinical research will help to further enhance renal nutrition therapy.
JUMPSTART Renal Nutrition Therapy Research Program financially supported by Fresenius Kabi is designed for physicians, scientists or other healthcare professionals who want to take their research in renal nutrition therapy to the next level.
Successful applicants will receive a two half-day virtual training course followed by a 2 days face to face meeting in Frankfurt Main/Germany including an advanced training and a speed research challenge, packed with information on performing research in renal nutrition therapy in CKD patients.
The modules will be delivered by the Scientific Committee, who are known research experts in nephrology with a special expertise in the field of renal nutrition therapy.
The final candidates will be selected by the Scientific Committee.
